Yoga has become an integral part of your life, especially in the wake of the recent zeal towards fitness and mental health. There are reasons for why an art form, as old as yoga, is still relevant in the contemporary world. Yoga, more or less, can be defined as a way of life. It is more than just a thing to practice. It is the key to a healthy and productive life. In the wake of the modern world of rush, concrete and machine, yoga is perhaps the only route to being humane again.

Yoga enhances the regulation of blood flow in the body. It improves the movement of blood in the body, especially in the hands and the feet. The practise of inverted poses in yoga, such as Headstand, Handstand, and Shoulder stand, make sure that the venous blood in the legs and the pelvis area is allowed to flow back to the heart. From the heart it is pumped back to the lungs where it is freshly oxygenated.
With yoga you can boost up your immune system-
One of the most important advantages of yoga is that it significantly enhances and improves your immunity system. This is beneficial in many ways. When you have a good immunity system, you are more disease free. It means that your body is able to ward off good degree of harmful diseases-causing microbes. Yoga also ensures the drainage of lymph. This enables the lymphatic system to ward off infection, remove cancerous cells, and also get rid of the toxic waste that is produced as a result of cellular functioning and other metabolic activities in the body.
